Judy,

I acquired your name from the St. Louis Writer's Guild website. I'm writing you regarding an idea we've had to help writer's record audio versions of their works. We are a full service recording studio in St. Louis that has worked on a number of audio book projects. It occurred to us that local authors might have interest in recording. To that end we are considering setting up a special St. Louis author's rate.

Our studio offers production/direction and everything an author might need to get a profession, finished product, ready for market. The big question is, is there interest in this idea. Thus my letter to you. If you have the time I'd love your input as to your thoughts and any ideas you might have or even if you would be interested in recording, yourself.

I realize this email is out of the blue. But I figured it might be a good idea to go right to the authors themselves.

Thank you in advance for your input.
